Android 11 is currently in beta, but will soon be officially available. From the list of Android 11 features to the release date on compatible devices, we cover everything in this post.
So, without wasting too much time, let’s get started:
When is Android 11 coming out?
The first beta version of Android 11 was released on the 10th. Published in June. So you can try the beta version of Android 11 and get an idea of what the stable version of Android 11 will be.
Unfortunately, Google has not yet announced an official release date for Android 11 for its customers, so we may have to wait a while.

Which phones support Android 11?
Like the previous versions of Android, Google will first launch Android 11 for Pixel devices, then for other Android devices such as Xiaomi, Oneplus etc..
Here are some pixel devices that can receive androids 11.
- Pixel 2 and 2 XL
- Pixel 3 and 3 XL
- Pixels 3a and 3a XL
- Pixel 4 and 4 XL
and now the list of Android 11 features you’ve been waiting for:
Internal screen recording :
The native screen capture feature will be available in Android 11, which usually comes with One Plus and Xiaomi phones. This eliminates the need to download external applications to capture the screen.
Disable alerts during video :
Due to the popularity of video calling, android 11 has added the feature to mute notifications when recording videos. With Android 11, you can now disable notifications during video recording.
Increase sensitivity to touch:
Google has added a touch-sensitive option to the settings menu that allows you to increase the sensitivity of your touch screen. This feature is especially useful for Android users using a screen protector, it should reduce the number of missed keys and scrolling.
Speech bells: Although this feature was already available in Android 10, Google includes it in the Android 11 feature set, which brings us to the conclusion that Google will work harder to have this feature adopted by more developers and OEMs.
Improved single-use resolutions :
Previously we had to grant one authorisation after the other for all these services, such as microphone, calls, camera, etc. but with Android 11 you can grant all authorisations at once.
Android does not allow easy viewing of previously triggered notifications, as the Android 10 notification log is not visible to the user. Android 11 DP1 proposed the notification history option, and DP2 confirmed it. The new function seems to be very useful.
Automatically overrides requests for authorizations:
With so many applications constantly stealing data from Android users, Android 11 DP3 has introduced a new option to automatically revoke rights such as camera, location and more applications that have not been used for a while.
In addition, you can decide for yourself how you want to give permission to submit applications.
Updating the nutrition menu :
Now, with Android 11, you can do a lot more with the power menu button. The power menu gives you quick access to Smart Home controls, Google Wallet maps, power options and more.
Airplane mode does not end Bluetooth: On Android 11, Bluetooth remains enabled when the aircraft mode is on. This can be an important function for users using Bluetooth devices.
Pixel Themes keeps track of the clock:
In the Pixel Themes section of Settings, you can probably adjust the appearance of your clock on the OAD and Lock screens. However, the first beta version offers only one option.
Transfer the results to the resources menu :
With Android 11, you can now pin your most frequently used applications to a share sheet.
organized notes :
With Android 11, you can now view all your notifications organized by category.
Advanced motion sensors :
Google enhances its motion sensors on Android. In Android 11, you can turn on the air above your phone to pause music and do other interesting things.
Fixed Time Dark Mode :
With Android 11 you have the option to automatically turn the device on or off depending on the time of day.
New text selection mode in the overview menu :
In the fourth Android 11 Developer Preview, Google has added a select button to the review menu. Tap the button to quickly select text in one application and paste it into another application.
The media players will now be sent in the quick settings:
When listening to music on your phone, you are used to finding the media player in the shadow of the message. In Android 11, the player moves to the quick settings section and gets a number of additional tools, including the ability to easily select an output device. However, this feature is already disabled in the first beta version in the development options.
To unlock the face on Pixel 4 you have to open your eyes:
Speaking of Pixel 4, it seems that Android 11 will allow users to open their eyes to the Face Unlock to work. Unlocking can be less effective, but it does make your phone safer.
