As the new year approaches, the brands are preparing for new product launches and LG is not lagging behind. There is a lot of speculation about the next 16-inch variant of the LG Gram 2021.
This next-generation series of notebooks is now available in South Korea, much sooner than expected. The first image of the device was revealed by a recent Twitter leak, which showed some new details of LG’s 16-inch Gram SKU series.
LG has already replaced the existing 15-inch stock management unit with an ultra-light, portable 16-inch version. In addition to this new version of the Gram series, there are other variants that could make their debut on the national OEM market.
The specifications of the next LG Gram are placed on the Twitter account with the @cozyplanes handle. According to the leaks at this point, the new LG Gram 16 is likely to be equipped with the latest 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. There was no specific mention of discrete images on the plane.
Another leaked portion of the specification indicates that the device is likely to have 256GB SSD for storage and 8GB RAM for storage options. Regarding the design of the next Gram 16, LG has designed the unit with a glossy white lid with an optional base plate. Even the interior and keyboard of the device are likely to have the same finish.
Regarding the input/output ports of the device, it is said that it comes with the required HDMI port, SuperSpeed USB Type A ports, as well as Thunderbolt and USB Type C ports with a 3.5 mm plug. The device is also equipped with a microSD card slot. The device is also likely to support a type C charger.
But that’s not all. With the launch of the LG Gram 16, it is not surprising that the device is much fuller than the proposed leaks. In addition to the correct processor information, the device also works with a Windows 10 64-bit operating system.
Although the information on the Twitter account does not mention the graphical configuration, the official specifications suggest that the device will be supported by Intel Iris Xe graphics. It also has an impressive 40.6 cm IPS LED display. As for the processor, it is the 4.2 GHz Turbo Boost.
As for the keyboard of the latest version of the LG Gram 16, the device features an impressive keyboard of 97 full-size backlit keys with three separate rows of numeric keys. The device’s 80 Wh battery ensures a long service life without giving up half.
The LG Gram 16 is integrated with the latest Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 wireless connectivity. If you have special requirements for security solutions, the device is equipped with a separate fingerprint sensor for easy entry.
One of the advantages of this last device is that it has a memory expansion slot. So, if you need more memory after 256GB SSD, you can expand it accordingly.
The Twitter account, Tron, further states that the device is likely to cost around $180. However, there is as yet no official information about the price of the device.
