Pi raspberry needs no introduction. What started as an energy-efficient computer for do-it-yourselfers can now be used as a fully functional office.
With the release of Raspberry Pi 400, they make it easier to use on a home computer. The Pi 400 Raspberry is essentially a computer in the shape of a keyboard.
If you remember correctly, the Commodore 64 1982 was also a computer like a keyboard. Although not unique, it is a good deal for a product as successful as Raspberry Pi.
Crimson Pi 400 : Revision
It is based on the Pi 4 raspberry (with 4 GB RAM) and is configured to function as a cooler. With a quad-core processor, it’s faster than ever.
Not only is it easy to use and portable, but it should also save you a lot of space on your desk. And if, like me, you were planning to get a spare computer for testing, I think I could use the Pi 400 Raspberry instead of building another PC or a minipc based on Linux.

Prices and availability
For $70 it’s the best modern home computer you can get, with the simplicity of having a single keyboard and taking it anywhere (you just need a screen to connect it).
You can buy the Raspberry Pi 400 for $70 or a complete package for $100, including a USB mouse, HDMI to HDMI micro cable, USB-C power supply, entry-level manual and an SD card with Raspberry Pi OS pre-installed.

At launch we support English (UK and US), French, Italian, German and Spanish keyboards with (for the first time) translated versions of the Beginner’s Guide. In the near future we plan to support the same set of languages as our official keyboard.
In other words, they support any basic keyboard layout. So it shouldn’t be a problem for most people.

Pi 400 kits and Raspberry computers for the UK, USA and France are now available. The Italian, German and Spanish units are on their way to authorized Raspberry Pi dealers who should have them in stock next week.
We expect authorised resellers in India, Australia and New Zealand to have kits and computers in place by the end of the year. We are in the process of quickly introducing certification for other areas as well, so that Pi 400 raspberry will be available worldwide in the first months of 2021.
